Essex Tennis is a voluntary ‘not-for-profit’ organisation. Our aim is to support and safeguard tennis providers, coaches, players and parents.  We assist voluntary clubs to develop facilities and increase membership creating the opportunity for more people to play tennis.

Essex Players Pat Wire, Terry Stevens and Colin Minter took part in the World Seniors Team Championships in Turkey. Pat Wire represented the Women’s O’65s category beating Germany in the Semi finals but lost out to USA in the finals.Terry Stevens represented the 085s finishing 6th out of 9 matches with USA crowned champions. Following the team event there were individual championships and Terry won bronze medals in both the Men’s and Mixed Doubles. Well done to all 👏🏻
