Please be advised that following a meeting of the Competitions Committee held remotely on 30 November, the decision was taken to cancel the Open Winter League and Winter Cups 2020/2021 with immediate effect. This is in view of the current Covid 19 situation and the unknown factor of further possible restrictions after Christmas. We feel that this is the best option for the safety of all players and their families.
With regard to the Seniors League which normally runs from February to November the Committee also decided that no matches should be played before our AGM which is on 4 March 2021. Any matches which had previously been arranged for February 2021 should now be re-arranged for a later date.
We hope that by March we may have some kind of normality and we can then run the Open Summer League, Summer County Cups and Seniors League as normal.
We trust that these decisions are acceptable to all clubs.
