We are very saddened to learn of the passing of Gerry Abbott on 10th October. Gerry was an Essex Tennis Life Vice President having served for many years on our Council and was a valued volunteer both for Essex Tennis and Whitehall Tennis Club. We know he will be missed not only by his family but by his many friends both personally and within the tennis community. We send our sincere condolences to Nicky and the family.
