We are sorry to have to give you all the sad news that one of our Past Presidents, Harry Brickwood has very sadly passed away after a short illness. Harry was a long standing stalwart of Essex Tennis and held the role of President from 2015 – 2018.
Harry made a huge contribution to Tennis in Essex—he started one of the most successful junior leagues in the County, which still thrives—[although not at the moment due to Covid] –and in latter years he Chaired our Competitions Committee ensuring that its success was maintained. It is volunteers like him which make tennis work. He will be missed by all at Essex Tennis and we send our sincere condolences to his wife Heather and all Harry’s family.
